ABOUT THE JOB
As a Pharmacy Student at Costco, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to assist with prescription preparation, patient service, and pharmacy administration tasks. The role includes handling prescriptions, supporting counseling activities as appropriate, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with inventory and health promotion initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, labeling, and documentation.
- Answer phone calls and assist members with pharmacy-related inquiries.
- Support prescription pickup, transactions, and basic patient assistance.
- Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy software systems.
- Help manage pharmacy inventory, supplies, and OTC merchandise.
- Support health promotion initiatives and pharmacy programs as directed.
- Follow all provincial regulations, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
- Assist with cleaning and organization of the pharmacy area.
