ABOUT THE JOB
As a Pharmacy Student, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to assist with dispensing activities, patient interactions, and administrative tasks. The position offers practical exposure to pharmacy practice while ensuring compliance with provincial regulations and Costco pharmacy standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist pharmacists with prescription intake, data entry, and processing.
- Prepare prescriptions by retrieving medications, labeling, and packaging.
- Provide courteous assistance to patients at the pharmacy counter.
- Communicate with patients regarding prescription and OTC products.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Support inventory management, stocking, and organization of pharmacy supplies.
- Follow pharmacy policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
