ABOUT THE JOB
As a Pharmacy Clerk at Costco, you will support daily pharmacy activities by assisting with prescription intake, data entry, billing, and inventory control. The position requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and a strong focus on providing courteous and efficient service to members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with prescription intake, processing, and data entry under pharmacist supervision.
- Receive payments, process insurance claims, and handle billing inquiries.
- Prepare and organize prescriptions for dispensing according to procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient and prescription records in the pharmacy system.
- Stock, rotate, and manage pharmacy inventory and supplies.
- Follow privacy, safety, and security guidelines at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
- Provide prompt and courteous member service.
