ABOUT THE JOB
As an Optician / Contact Lens Practitioner, you will assist members with selecting, ordering, and fitting eyewear and contact lenses. The position involves processing optical prescriptions, performing measurements, handling contact lens fittings, and maintaining accurate records while following provincial regulations and Costco optical standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members with eyewear and contact lens selection and fitting.
- Process optical prescriptions and ensure accuracy of orders.
- Perform contact lens fittings and provide usage guidance.
- Measure and adjust frames for proper fit and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with provincial licensing and optical regulations.
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous member service.
