ABOUT THE JOB
The Optical Student assists with daily optical department activities, including processing orders, supporting eyewear fittings, and maintaining accurate documentation. This position involves working directly with members, performing basic administrative and sales support tasks, and ensuring department standards for cleanliness and organization are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members with eyewear orders and provide courteous service.
- Support optical staff with order processing and documentation.
- Stock merchandise and maintain department organization.
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately when required.
- Clean and organize display cases and workstations.
- Follow department procedures related to privacy, safety, and security.
- Assist with inventory control and product rotation as needed.
