Costco is hiring an Optical Student to support its Optical department in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role focuses on assisting members with eyewear selection, processing orders, and supporting daily optical operations under the supervision of licensed professionals.
ABOUT THE JOB
As an Optical Student, you will assist with customer service and administrative tasks within the Optical department. You will help members choose frames and lens options, process optical orders, and support inventory and merchandising activities while following established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members in selecting eyeglass frames and lens options.
- Process optical orders and prepare eyewear for customer pickup.
- Handle payments and transactions according to company procedures.
- Support inventory management, stocking, and merchandising of optical products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical department.
- Follow safety, privacy, and security procedures at all times.
