ABOUT THE JOB
As a Meat Assistant, you will assist with the preparation and presentation of meat products for sale. You will wrap and label items, stock display cases, operate department equipment, and ensure all products meet Costco’s standards for quality and freshness. This position plays an important role in daily meat department operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wrap, label, and price meat products using approved procedures.
- Stock and rotate products in display cases to maintain freshness.
- Inspect meat products for quality and proper presentation.
- Operate department equipment safely, including grinders and wrapping machines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
- Follow food safety, health, and workplace safety guidelines.
