The Cashier Assistant works alongside cashiers to ensure smooth and accurate checkout experiences for members. Responsibilities include packing merchandise, retrieving carts, maintaining cleanliness at the front end, and helping manage traffic flow during busy periods. This position plays an important role in maintaining efficiency and providing a high level of member service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pack member purchases into boxes or carts efficiently and carefully.
- Retrieve shopping carts from the parking area and assist members as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of checkout areas and surrounding spaces.
- Load merchandise into vehicles when required.
- Follow safety and security procedures at all times.
- Support cashiers with operational tasks to ensure smooth front-end performance.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to members.
