ABOUT THE JOB
The Cashier Assistant position at Costco focuses on supporting checkout operations and delivering excellent member service. You will help pack items, retrieve carts, maintain cleanliness at the registers, and assist with general front-end duties while following company procedures and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist cashiers by packing and transferring items to carts.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to members at checkout.
- Retrieve carts and help manage front-end traffic flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout lanes and surrounding areas.
- Handle merchandise carefully to prevent damage.
- Follow cash handling and loss prevention procedures as required.
- Support promotions and special events at the front end.
- Assist with additional front-end tasks as needed.
