ABOUT THE JOB
The Cake Decorator is responsible for finishing and decorating cakes for both stock and custom orders. This role involves applying icing, decorative designs, and written messages while following established bakery production procedures. The position requires creativity, attention to detail, and adherence to food safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Decorate cakes using approved designs, tools, and techniques.
- Apply icing, borders, and written messages neatly and accurately.
- Prepare and assemble cakes according to company formulas and specifications.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness of decorating stations and equipment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health code requirements.
- Provide courteous service to members placing cake orders.
