ABOUT THE JOB
As a Cake Decorator at Costco, you will be responsible for decorating cakes using established designs, applying icings and toppings, and preparing finished products for display and sale. The role involves working with bakery equipment, following production guidelines, and ensuring consistency across all decorated items. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Decorate cakes using approved designs, icings, and decorative finishes.
- Prepare, assemble, and finish cakes according to established formulas and procedures.
- Apply toppings, fillings, and decorations using piping bags, spatulas, and other tools.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality, consistency, and visual appeal.
- Operate bakery equipment and decorating tools safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating and bakery areas.
- Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
- Assist with other bakery or warehouse tasks as needed.
