Costco is hiring a Bakery Wrapper for its warehouse location in Kitchener, Ontario. This role focuses on packaging, labeling, and preparing bakery items for sale while maintaining high standards for freshness, presentation, and food safety.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Bakery Wrapper supports daily bakery operations by wrapping and packaging baked goods, preparing items for display, and keeping the department organized and stocked. You’ll work with bakery products throughout the day, follow production procedures, and help ensure members receive high-quality items in a clean and efficient environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wrap, package, label, and stock bakery products according to department procedures.
- Operate basic bakery tools and equipment used for packaging and labeling.
- Inspect products for quality, proper labeling, and attractive presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tables, and equipment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health code requirements.
- Assist with product rotation and restocking to support sales floor needs.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to members when needed.
