ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products following standardized recipes and production schedules. The role involves mixing, shaping, baking, and handling ingredients and finished goods in a fast-paced warehouse bakery environment. You’ll work with commercial bakery equipment and help maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and bake bakery items following approved recipes and production guidelines.
- Measure, weigh, and combine ingredients accurately for large-batch preparation.
- Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and related tools.
- Monitor product quality, baking times, and oven temperatures.
- Maintain sanitation standards and follow food safety procedures.
- Label, wrap, and prepare baked goods for display.
- Assist with inventory checks and ingredient handling.
- Support other warehouse areas when required.
