ABOUT THE JOB
The Baker position at Costco involves preparing and baking a variety of fresh bakery products following established formulas and procedures. This role requires handling ingredients, operating bakery equipment, and ensuring that all finished products meet Costco’s quality, consistency, and food safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare bakery products following Costco formulas and production guidelines.
- Measure, mix, and handle ingredients using bakery equipment and tools.
- Operate ovens and baking machinery safely and efficiently.
- Shape, bake, and finish doughs and baked goods according to specifications.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality throughout production.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bakery work area.
- Follow all health, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with additional bakery tasks as needed.
