ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bakery products according to established formulas and production guidelines. The role involves handling ingredients, operating bakery equipment, and ensuring products meet quality, safety, and presentation standards in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and bake bakery products following Costco formulas and production schedules.
- Measure, assemble, and combine ingredients accurately for baking.
- Operate bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers.
- Decorate, finish, and package baked goods according to standards.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist in other bakery or warehouse areas as needed.
