ABOUT THE JOB
As an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Practitioner at Costco, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hearing health services to members. This includes conducting hearing evaluations, recommending appropriate hearing solutions, and ensuring devices are properly fitted and maintained. The role combines clinical expertise with strong customer service, following professional standards and Costco’s commitment to member satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct hearing assessments for the purpose of dispensing hearing aids, including history taking and ear examinations.
- Perform hearing evaluations and recommend suitable hearing instruments based on individual needs.
- Fit, verify, adjust, and maintain hearing aids and related devices.
- Provide follow-up care, counseling, and ongoing support to members.
- Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and privacy standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to hearing care services.
- Operate and close the hearing aid center as required.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse when necessary.
