Costco Wholesale Canada Ltd. is hiring a Licensed Audiologist for its warehouse location in Kitchener, Ontario. This role focuses on assessing hearing health, recommending appropriate hearing solutions, and providing professional dispensing services to members in a clinical retail environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Audiologist will evaluate members’ hearing needs through comprehensive testing and provide tailored hearing instrument solutions when appropriate. The role also includes performing follow-up fittings, adjustments, verifications, and ongoing care to ensure optimal device performance. This position combines clinical expertise with member-focused service in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct hearing assessments including case history intake and audiometric evaluations.
- Recommend, fit, and dispense hearing instruments in accordance with provincial regulations.
- Perform verification, validation, adjustments, and minor repairs of hearing devices.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records.
- Provide counseling and education to members regarding hearing health solutions.
- Support inventory control and clinic operations as required.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
