Key Responsibilities for the Account Executive Role
As an Account Executive for Video Ads Sales, your key responsibilities will include:
- Generating advertising revenue by consulting with ad agencies, new prospects, and advertisers on Amazon’s Streaming TV and brand-building ad solutions.
- Constructing and delivering compelling narratives about the importance of reaching an audience that streams video and its impact on business growth.
- Being a true hunter, identifying new opportunities and connecting them with value-added solutions.
- Generating and managing a sales pipeline to drive revenue from new advertisers.
- Establishing credible relationships with agencies and advertiser decision-makers.
- Mapping account strategies, aligning resources, and determining which of Amazon’s video products best serve advertisers’ needs.
- Holding sales calls and delivering superior customer service to existing and prospective clients.
- Preparing and delivering customized sales presentations to clients, showcasing Amazon’s unique value proposition in the video ads space.
Minimum Qualifications for the Account Executive Role
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience selling ads on video/TV/Streaming TV platforms.
- 7+ years of experience in digital ad sales as an individual contributor.
- Experience using sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
Preferred Qualifications for the Account Executive Role
Preferred qualifications for this role include:
- Proven experience building new customer relationships.
- Strong experience in high-level negotiation and relationship management, both internally and externally.
