ABOUT THE JOB
As a Loss Prevention Clerk at Costco, you’ll help identify and reduce internal and external loss risks in the warehouse. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor the warehouse and parking areas to help identify potential safety and security risks.
- Observe activity, detect suspicious behavior, and document incidents according to procedures.
- Support internal loss prevention processes and assist with investigations when required.
- Prepare clear notes and reports related to incidents, safety concerns, or potential loss events.
- Communicate findings to management and follow direction on next steps.
- Follow privacy, confidentiality, and security procedures at all times.
- Work professionally with members and employees while maintaining a safe environment.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary and provide information as required.
- Support other warehouse areas as needed.
