Costco is hiring an Audiologist / Hearing Instrument Practitioner to join its hearing center team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role focuses on assessing hearing health, dispensing hearing aids, and delivering high-quality patient care in a professional retail healthcare environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating hearing needs and providing appropriate hearing solutions to Costco members. You will conduct hearing assessments, recommend and fit hearing instruments, and ensure all services meet professional, regulatory, and company standards. The role combines clinical expertise with a strong focus on customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess hearing health through consultations, case histories, and diagnostic testing.
- Dispense, fit, and adjust hearing aids based on individual patient needs.
- Provide counselling and education on hearing loss and hearing instrument use.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in accordance with regulations.
- Ensure infection control, privacy, and safety standards are consistently followed.
- Support daily hearing center operations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
