About the Role
The Product Manager, Automotive AI Agent will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Google Cloud AI solutions specifically tailored for the automotive industry. In this role, you will collaborate closely with automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to understand their needs, deliver customized tooling and reference applications, and position Google’s AI solutions to effectively meet these requirements.
You will also define the product roadmap, work with partners in the Android Auto and Geo teams, and manage product launches that support high-value business agreements.
Additionally, you will need to stay at the forefront of technological advancements in Generative AI and machine learning, ensuring that Google’s solutions remain innovative and competitive. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the future of AI applications within the automotive sector, driving innovation that enhances both user experiences and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Developer team on delivering tooling and reference applications for auto OEMs.
- Engage with auto manufacturers to understand their requirements and position Google’s solutions accordingly.
- Define the roadmap for new models, tools, and features to drive future investment.
- Work closely with partners in the Android Auto and Geo teams to integrate solutions.
- Manage product launches for high-value business customer agreements, ensuring successful delivery.
Basic Qualifications
Google requires the following basic qualifications for the Product Manager, Automotive AI Agent, Applied AI role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience with Generative AI or Large Language Models.
Preferred Qualifications
Google prefers candidates who also possess the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a technology or business-related field.
- 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
- Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
- 2 years of experience in software development.
- Experience working cross-functionally with developers, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
- 1 year of experience in technical leadership.
