ABOUT THE JOB
As a Maintenance Assistant at Costco, you will be responsible for cleaning floors, restrooms, and facility areas, handling waste removal, and supporting basic maintenance tasks. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and maintain floors, restrooms, production areas, and facility spaces.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, trash compactors, and floor machines.
- Empty trash containers and transport waste according to procedures.
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure availability of materials.
- Clean light fixtures, windows, and work surfaces as required.
- Assist with minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep tasks.
- Follow all safety, security, and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to members, employees, and suppliers.
