Key Responsibilities for the Meat Assistant

As a Meat Assistant, you will perform several key tasks designed to support daily operations, uphold standards, and assist the team in delivering the best possible service.

• Wrap and label meat products using the automatic wrapping machine.
• Operate meat grinders and ensure correct fat content in each batch.
• Inspect and reassemble equipment that was sanitized the previous night.
• Restock display cases, rotating inventory to maintain freshness.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas throughout the day.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and follow all safety procedures.
• Provide prompt, courteous member service when needed.

Minimum Qualifications for the Meat Assistant

Ideal candidates will meet basic educational requirements and possess the necessary certifications and skills to perform effectively in this role.

• Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Food Safety Certification – Level 1 required on the first day.
• Experience: Preference given to candidates with meat wrapping experience
